Florida Trip,
New Year's 2000

I finally managed to get the pictures developed from my trip to Florida during the week of New Years 2000.  Murph followed us around a bit (Murphy's Law, for those of you that are unfamiliar with Murph), but we managed to get around him.

The next leg of our trip takes us down to the southern tip of Florida, through a chain of Islands known as the Florida Keys.  We wanted to make it down to Key West for the New Year's celebration.  Along the way, we stopped at a place called Craig's on Plantation Key where they serve great grouper sandwiches.

Sloppy Joe's Bar.  The location where the "New Year's Conch" would drop.

Sloppy Joe's is located right down the street from Captain Tony's Saloon at the Corner of Duvall St. and Greene St..

  What a lovely stop sign!
Actually, this is the corner of Duvall St and Greene St soon after midnight struck and the conch shell dropped.
